Alcudia’s old town is also a unique place. You will fall in love with the town, its medieval wall and Sant Jaume Church. Strolling through the pedestrianised streets immersed in so much history, you are sure to enjoy this town to the full.
While you stroll around Alcudia, make sure that you climb up to the wall and enjoy the incredible views. Also look for the different entrance and exit gates in the wall which are spectacular.
During your holiday in Mallorca, if you want to take a short trip, choose the walk up to the Ermita de la Victoria (La Victoria Hermitage), also known as the Bay of Pollensa viewing point.
It is a narrow path that will take you to the former hermitage. From this point, you can enjoy incredible views of the Bay of Pollensa. Walking along this path, you can also reach the Beach of S’illot and have a refreshing dip in the sea.
Another beautiful spot close to Alcudia is the incredible Faro de Formentor (Formentor Lighthouse). This is the place to choose for the best sunsets in Mallorca, but also for those who love cycling and are looking for the best cycling routes in Mallorca.
The winding road of the Formentor Lighthouse will astound you with its beauty and the nature that surrounds it. Once you reach the lighthouse, you will enjoy unrivalled views and the sound of the sea crashing against the breath-taking cliffs.
Mallorca’s only coastal lagoon is located in Alcudia. This place is known as one of the most diverse areas of flora and fauna in Mallorca. That’s why you should visit this different and special part of Mallorca.
In addition, the Albufera de Mallorca (Coastal lagoon) has been declared a Natural Park since 1988. This indicates the importance of the site, known for being the largest wetland area of the Balearic Islands.
